Vermont Saves is a new retirement savings program, sponsored by the Office of the State Treasurer.

Here in Vermont, more than 45% of Vermont employers do not offer retirement benefits.1 Vermont Saves was created to help bridge our state’s retirement gap.

Vermont Saves is also available for:

  • Vermont workers whose employers do not offer a workplace retirement plan

  • Self-employed individuals

  • Others who want an easy way to save in a Roth Individual Retirement Account (IRA) they can take wherever their career leads
